The Mercury Universe Book I: Prey

So natural is the way of existence, and so fair is its indifference. Upon the currents of the cosmic ocean, a calm 􀆟de may bring life to countless beings, and a rogue wave may bring them death. The laws of all things inherent to the universe are indelible and the execution is without thought and without mercy.

But what if one could change that?

What if one could build a universe of their own, free from the laws that govern with such apathy?

What if one were capable of igniting the spark to bring forth a realm of life born anew and boundless in design?
To cheat the warden of all existence is a challenge tasked to a handful of brave scientists, and in their success in building a universe outside of their own, they have escaped the confines of intangible imagination. But in doing so, they have le􀅌􀅌 a window open, giving invitation to a malice whose sole purpose is to corrupt their paradise. In the face of havoc and war, those of intelligent design may come to the conclusion that the only cure to such an infestation is the plenary destruction of their own creation.
